WikiWineGuide (http://wikiwineguide.com) is a project to create a complete, up-to-date and reliable Global Wineguide. It is built in collaboration by people from all around the globe.
WikiWineGuide is built with the spirit of sharing knowledge that makes it so enjoyable. Whenever people meet each other on the road or online, they swap info about the wineries they came from and ask questions about wines. We want to make it easy to share that knowledge and let others share it.
The project has begun in February 2014 by the 5 founders, It was inspired by the free encyclopedia, and by the needs of people for timely information.
To create WikiWineGuide we use a tool (or a process, or a technology) called Wiki which lets any Internet reader, update, edit, and illustrate any article on the Web site. We all share our pieces of knowledge, edit them, distill them, and assemble them into a pleasing and cohesive whole. The more people that use the Edit button, the better WikiWineGuide becomes.
We've achieved some milestones, but we still have a long way to go. If you're new to WikiWineGuide, feel free to plunge forward and help us!
